Lord Most High, Most Wise,
Something feels different. A shift in the air. A shift in the heart. The weight of tomorrow still lingers, the old questions still return: What comes next? How will it be done? Yet there is one thing that never changes—You.
The years have taught a simple truth: somehow, everything has been carried this far. Not by human strength alone. There were seasons of hard work, seasons of perseverance, seasons of endurance. But there were also moments that cannot be explained away. A friend appeared at the right time. A door opened at the right time. Even an enemy arrived at the right time and taught a lesson that could not have been learned otherwise.
Sometimes it seems impossible that the Creator of all things would concern Himself with a single life among billions. Yet Scripture teaches that every hair is known, every burden is seen, every prayer is heard. Such love is difficult to comprehend.
There is no claim of deserving it. Still, grace arrives.
The mind tries to arrange every block, solve every problem, predict every outcome. Then comes the reminder: this world is not the final home. This life is temporary. The assignment is simple. Wake up. Show up. Do not give up. Trust God with the rest.
Today brought another lesson. One person walked through the rain burdened, soaked, pushing a cart. Another walked through the same rain untouched in spirit, carrying an umbrella and moving through the day as though nothing could disturb her peace. The rain fell equally upon both.
Perhaps life is like that.
The world creates systems, rules, costs, obligations, and endless complications. It promises solutions to problems it often helped create. It praises its own achievements and celebrates its own wisdom. Yet so often the Source of life receives no acknowledgment.
Lord, protect the heart from believing that this is all there is.
Humanity discovers medicines, builds institutions, develops technologies, and calls them miracles. Yet behind every law of nature, every healing process, every breath in every lung stands the One who made it possible. Let that never be forgotten.
Teach gratitude without pride. Conviction without bitterness. Strength without hardness. Faith without arrogance.
Most of all, teach acceptance of the person You created. The battle against shame is often greater than the battle against circumstance. Yet if the Creator calls His creation loved, then no voice of condemnation should be louder than that truth.
Judgment belongs to You.
The rain falls on everyone. The sun rises on everyone. Struggles come to everyone. But so does mercy.
Thank You for every unseen protection, every undeserved blessing, every lesson, every friend, every warning, every moment of grace.
No matter how loud the world becomes, no matter how complicated humanity makes life, no matter how many distractions compete for attention, there remains one certainty:
You are God.
And that is enough.
Amen.
